Welcome to the home of Tombstone Online Cowboy Poetry.

We would like to announce that we are having our first ever Cowboy Poetry contest as a kickoff to this site. The guidelines for submissions are listed to the right under “Guidelines”. Entry into the contest is FREE. We will take submissions between 5/8/2009 – 7/31/2009, with the winners being announced by 8/15/2009.

The First Place Winner will receive a year subscription to True West Magazine as well as prominent posting of the winning work on the website (stating First Place) for a minimum of 1 year.
The Second & Third Place Winners will receive Certificates of Award and posting on the website (stating their place) for a minimum of 1 year.

All other entries will be posted on the website. All works are copyright the writer and remain the sole property of the writer.

Due to delays with, well, life in general, Tombstone Online has placed an extension on the contest. The deadline for entries has been extended to 8/31/2009 and winners will be announced on 9/15/2009. We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause and hope that you understand.
